The great Touring Trotters’ prize giveaway (stage 2)

Firstly we’d like to express our huge thanks to everybody who has donated to our cause so far. You have helped us soar over our original fundraising target. We are truly touched by your incredible genorosity and support.

As a way to show our gratitude and to encourage yet more of our friends and family to dig deep in this festive season, and with the help of Ganapati, we’re happy to announce our next prize giveaway. Anybody who has donated on our JustGiving page by 23:59 on Wednesday 20 November will be entered into a draw to win a £60 voucher to dine at this wonderful Peckham restaurant specialising in South Indian cuisine.

The more you donate, the higher your chances of winning. Each £5 donated equates to one entry into the draw. So if you donate £10, you’ll be entered twice.

Remember, every penny you donate goes directly to our chosen charity, St Christopher’s Hospice.

You could be in with a chance of winning a £60 voucher to spend on a delicious meal at Ganapati, the home of South Indian cuisine in Peckham, with a menu influenced by the family style cooking and street food of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Having dined here several times, we can thoroughly recommend this gem of a restaurant as the best for authentic South Indian dishes in London…the masala dosas are simply out of this world…but don’t just take our word for it…

“… and it’s probably the finest example of south Indian food I’ve had outside India.”
—Telegraph Magazine

“The menu is mouth-watering and screams authenticity.”
—Evening Standard

“This isn’t just a paratha. This is a Ganapati paratha…”
—Guardian Weekend

“The very incarnation of a hidden gem, Ganapati’s brilliantly coloured interior is every bit as warm and vibrant as its southern Indian cooking.”
—Metro

“The best Keralan cooking in London…”
—Elle Decoration

“There’s an attention to detail here that shows this lot genuinely cares about what they’re doing…”
—Metro

“Fresh, healthy and delicious – a local treasure…”
—Harper’s Bazaar

For those of you who will be travelling from North London or further afield, you’ll be pleased to know that Ganapati is located conveniently close to Peckham Rye station (on the East London Line!). If you still feel nervous about dining in Peckham…a) grow a pair (we’re about to embark on a 3500km journey across India aboard an oversized lawnmower) and b) get down with the cool kids (read our blog post ‘Peckham‘).

Happy donating and good luck!
